Since becoming part of the Nivea family I’ve been able to try some things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. The latest package they sent me is the perfect example of that. The first was aimed more at the skin on your face, whereas this one was more for the body. This doesn’t usually interest me, but I’ve realised that I need to put a little more effort into it.
I’d like to say before I get into the products that although I get sent items from Nivea, I’m not required to write good things about them, all opinions are my own. Im not paid by Nivea. I’ll be completely transparent in each of my reviews.
I’ll start with my favourite things from the package. In the top spot is the body moisturising mousse. I got the cucumber and matcha tea scent, which I’m obsessed with. I love cucumber scented things, it’s just so fresh. The moisturiser itself is great also. I don’t moisturise my body nearly enough because I hate how long it takes, & the sticky feeling afterwords. I’m not sure if it’s the added air in this but it dries so quickly yet still leaves my skin soft & hydrated. I still only use it on certain areas, & occasionally but I do grab for it more than my others.
My second favourite thing is the clay body wash. I’d actually already bought 2 other the scents from this range before getting this package so had already been using it. I was drawn towards it as clay is well known to be good for blemished skin, and I suffer from chest and back acne. Im still using the one that I bought first, which is the lavender one. I really like how it lathers up and leaves my body clean yet hydrated, but I don’t like the smell of it. The two other scents, hibiscus and white sage, & the one I was sent basil and ginger, are much nicer. I feel like the lavender scent would suit my boyfriend more. I’ll definitely be buying another when I eventually run out.
Next up is the antiperspirant. There’s not a whole lot you can say about it. It does a really good job of keeping me dry, & does last throughout the day. I also don’t get the crumbly white marks that happen. I use Nivea deodorant anyway, but will probably grab this one in the future.
Last but not least is a classic. Everyone knows the blue Nivea sun cream bottle, don’t they? I can remember them from when I was little, I feel like it’s a staple in everyone’s holiday bags now. I was even scrolling through Instagram the other day and saw one of the little bottles in the corner of a celebs sunbathing picture. If that isn’t a recommendation then I don’t know what is! They’ve shared the moisture lock spf 50 with me and something that protects my skin and moisturises is great. Even more is it says that it stays on even after going in water. I still recommend reapplying but I like the thought. The sun has pretty much all but vanished so I can’t imagine I’ll be getting much use out of this for the rest of this year, but I’m sure it’ll be eagerly awaiting (along with me) next summer.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of them?
Thank you for reading this post, until next time,
