BarryM molten metals

BarryM has recently brought out 4 more nail polishes in their molten metals range. These 4 polishes stuck out to me because they are all duo chrome or holographic. I’ve never bought all of the new polishes because I’m not the hugest fan of metallic polishes usually, but these were all so stunning.

The first polish I bought was ‘pink luxe’ because It was the only one I could find at the time! Its a beautiful  bright pink with bright yellow gold duo chrome micro flakes. The first coat applied quite sheer, but is fully opaque in the second coat. The formula is really smooth and it applies like a dream. This polish is honestly really stunning and its such a good combination of colours, they work so well together.

I managed to get the other 3 at the same time, so I’ll talk about my favourite one first, which is called ‘crystal blue’. As you can probably tell by the name, it’s a royal/turquoise blue base, with an aqua/green and gold shimmer/flakie/glitter. I’m a sucker for polishes this colour, especially ones that are sparkly and duo chrome, so this was always going to be a winner. This one applies more opaque one the first coat, but it does still need a second to make it fully opaque and cover any streaks. Like pink luxe, the formula on this is really nice and smooth, and is easy to apply.

my second favourite polish from the collection is ‘celestial silver’ which is a charcoal silver base that shifts green to purple, and also contains holo flakies. This polish isn’t what I expected from looking at the pictures online, but I was pleasantly surprised when I had it in my hands. This is very sheer on the first coat, and I applied quite a thick coat the second time, but 2 more thin coats would have worked. The holo flakes are very vibrant and really add to this polish.

The final polish is ‘antique gold’ which is a burgundy base with gold glitter. This is very christmassy to me, which makes it feel a bit weird to wear in August, but it will be stunning in the later months. this polish applies a nice opacity in one coat, but two coats are necessary to reach full opacity.

I’m really loving this collection! If they continue to bring out polishes like this, then I’ll be losing a lot of money!

Have you tried any of these new polishes?

Thank you for reading this post. I’d really appreciate it if you’d give it a like a leave me a comment!

Until next time
