The beauty of a walk

Not so long ago, my brother created a blog (Less than average) where he talks about mental health and it really inspired me to appreciate the little things in life, like going for walks.

I’ve always been a fan of going for walks, I think it runs in my family. Since moving in with my boyfriend we’ve talked about all the walks we want to go on in wales and I’m happy to say we’ve been on a few, not all of them though. I think we both found it a little weird going for walks by ourselves though, even though it shouldn’t be a bad thing.

When we got our pup, Bradley, we found we had a reason to go for more walks, and as much as going for a walk everyday isn’t as relaxing as I thought, I have had the chance to go for walks that I probably wouldn’t have before.

There’s something about going for a walk that’s really relaxing and peaceful. Looking at and being part of nature is beautiful. Taking the time to enjoy the peace and look at the beautiful scenery is such an amazing thing to be able to do, and I think a lot of us, me especially, takeout for granted sometimes.

It’s nice to take a step back and enjoy the little things.

Here are some photos that I’ve taken on some of my  walks

I hope you enjoyed looking at these pictures, and I hope it inspired you to take a little walk, especially when the sun is out.

I know this isn’t my usual style and topic of writing but I hope you enjoyed it still and are open to me expanding my writing a little.

Thank you for reading
