BarryM Molten metals ‘gold rush’

As much as I am a great lover of nail varnish (as my name probably shows) I’ve never been the type to buy the newest thing just to have it, which makes my polish collection still quite small. I only really buy a polish if its either really unique or really shiny, so when I saw this new BarryM molten metals polish I new I had to get it. It’s duochrome and shimmery which is perfect for me.

When applying this polish, it takes about 3 coats to make it completely opaque, which isn’t the best but the polish is thin and 3 coats doesn’t feel thick at all.

This polish is a foil like glitter in a clear base. The glitters shift from gold to peach and its the most beautiful natural warm toned glitter.

One coat can be a beautiful topper and really make block colours or even natural nails really sparkle.

I created some nail art where I applied a nude base (maybelline – love this sweater), and a matte topcoat before applying small dots of gold rush to the nails using a dotting tool.

I really like the effect of this manicure, the different textures and finishes creates a really  unique look, unlike anything I’ve tried before.

What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed reading and enjoyed the look of the manicure I created.
