Nail art collab & going back to school

I’m in a nail art collab group and the theme for this month was going back to school, obviously.

This is the giant collage of everyone’s work. There were so many people involved in this, and it was a really fun topic for me. Me being 21, I haven’t been to school in years, but this past weekend (12th & 13th Aug) I had my first weekend of my beauty therapy treatment course. This is what I based my back to school nails on.

As you can see, just by looking at them, you wouldn’t think back to school, but I personalised each nail to my specific experience. My index finger is the design on my notebook, my middle finger is my pencil case, my ring finger is the tunic I have to wear as part of my uniform, and the pinky finger is obviously just a French manicure, but that was the first thing I learned in this course, so it seemed fitting.

My course runs a weekend, every three weeks, and I’ll be learning everything from manicures, to facials, to body massage and I couldn’t be more excited. It is a fast track course and there is a lot of work to do, which is daunting, but I’m determined to do it, and make my future the best it can’t be!.

One of the best parts of this course is, the company has people that will work with you to help you get a job once it’s finished and help you specialised your CV depending on what job you want. I’m hoping to get a spa job after I’m done, it seems like such a fun luxurious place to work.

I hope you enjoyed reading this little insight into my life, and like the nails to go along with it!. I hope to post a little bit more about myself and my life to give you a bit more of an idea of who I am.
